I have gigabit internet but Its not good and i dont know what im doing wrong. Also I would like to get a router with a gigabit hook up in it but I cant find one anywhere please help.
Generally, you can't get routers with direct fibreoptic connections. There are tens of different standards, and one ISP can use different standards even in the same area. Plus, terminating fibreoptic cabling (and even just connecting and disconnecting it) requires special equipment.
Usually, your ISP will install an Optical Network Terminal that converts the fibre to normal Gigabit Ethernet, which you then connect to your router.

Could you please post a speedtest? Also, are you connected to the router via Ethernet or WiFi? Performance over WiFi depends on a very large number of factors.
