i already have a gtx 980ti and im still not able to get a solid 60 at max on modern games. http://www.3dmark.com/fs/6802297
Idk what am i missing... Nvidia geforce optomizes my games at max but when i run it at the rec. settings it dips in 40's idk whats wrong pls help

4k monitor?

Even a single 980ti isnt enough to max 4k.
Unlikely, but you can OC your cpu. That MIGHT lessen the occasional dip, otherwise you're going to need a 2nd card.

Run your game, when you see the FPS drop, watch what the CPU and GPU loads are. If one is at 100% or close and the other still has performance left, there is your bottleneck...if you have one.

If you want more power, get a i5-4670k or a i7 4790k, a new motherboard and overclock. Or you could get another 980ti and SLI them.

A new motherboard (Z97) and CPU that is a "k" model would allow you to overclock the new CPU. That might give you a performance boost, but you need to identify if the CPU is a limiting factor.
