[SOLVED] i want the software for my mac book pro

I want to connect my handy cam to my mac book pro which runs on osx but when i look for the software download it gives me the exact opposite thing I need.

Its a driver download that's needed. One for your camera that works with osx. I've got no idea of what the opposite of a driver is.

Assuming you want to get video from the camera to edit the video, what editing software are you using? How are you connecting the Handycam to the MacBook Pro? What is the model of your Handycam? Not sure what you mean by "the exact opposite of what you need".
