I want to a a cpu cooler but...

I have been looking at a lot of cpu water coolers and the tutorial videos but i have a question that is still unclear. Do i need to get rid of the cpu fan that i have already bought because i did spend a lot for it and i know that the radiator of the cooler has a fan but do i just replace that fan or use both?

You have to get rid of the heatsink you currently have, which is what I assume you mean.
You can use whatever fan you want on it, but the heatsink has to be replaced.

What do you have now, and what are you looking to get?
