Question I want to build a PC and monitor combo that runs flawlessly at 1440p 144hz at 100+FPS

Price is not a problem, I just lack the knowledge to make a quality build. I want to be able to play games like Skyrim, Witcher 3, Kingdom Come Deliverance, COD, Far Cry5, iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Rfactor2... at or around 100+ FPS on at least HIGH settings flawlessly. I'm not even sure this is possible but that's my goal.

1440p, High Settings, 100+ FPS flawlessly? Generally, it's pick 2 of 3.
The best chance you'll have of hitting those goals, consistently is with an RTX2080TI.


For a lot of those titles though, 100+FPS most of the time on high settings (or high with some medium/low settings sprinkled in) could be achieved by something in a 1070/2060 class, although not ideal.

From a GPU standpoint I'd shoot for a minimum of a 2080 if I were you. On the CPU front, an i7-8700/8700K or better, and 16GB of RAM.

If the price doesn't matter, Id pick a 1440p 144hz and 2080ti.

Otherwise, an 8700k and 2080 would be minimum. If you only want 1440p, a 2070 may work.
