I want to buy 32 gigs of ddr4 ram should I go for the most expensive if I'm using it for autodesk 3ds max?

Not the highest frequency buy very very fast timing. As for the SSD, an M.2 PCI-E drive can give a lot of speed as well. Depends on how much money you have. I would suggest if money is not an issue, just do the faster one.

why do you recomend that ssd over this one? and where does it plug in using an i7? do you need a special mother board?

I am confused. I posted RAM. Your title said you wanted a ram suggestion and then your description showed you wanted SSD advice.
