Hello,

I want to buy a Inno3D 512Mb GeForce GF7600GT AGP8x

I have an antique PC and i allways wanted atleast to have a little higher fps so it would be playable online.

My motherboard is an MSI K8MM-V (MS7142)its an AGP slot motherboard(reaaaly antique) , i have a 350W psu and one connected HDD.

Will my motherboard and psu support this card? Or should i say bye-bye to any hopes? Thank you.

Your MoBo has AGPx8 slot so it will support an AGP 7600GT. But you should be more concerned about your PSU, because the 7600GT requires a minimum 350W PSU with 20A on the 12V rails.

Or get a ATI 4000 Series for an AGP x8

Well , thanks for the help , my motherboard supports it then...

I'll buy the card and i'll see how it works with the psu.

Thanks again for the help! Cheers!

My favorite PC game is Unreal Tournament (yes, the one from 1999) and I have a dedicated PC just for that. It has P4 3.2GHz, 1.5GB RAM, agp 7800GS GPU and CRT monitor (for the micro seconds response time). Maybe he has similar preferences.

Hey Funsurfer, you are my friend, well i played UT at 1999 and i made very good friends, i had some of the most fun gaming situations in this game, i will never forget it. However, just plug your crt monitor as 2nd on the better pc (if you have) and play UT there, you will love it ^^

Nice to know that someone else remembers that game...still playing UT on the P4... Do you know if the game is compatible with Windows 7 64 bit?
