Hello everyone!

I really need a new monitor but i can't really decide if i want 75hz/120hz/144hz/240hz.

My computer specs:

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-980x (12M Cache, 3.33 GHz ) (NO OC)
GPU: GTX 980 OR GTX 980 TI OR GTX 1060 OR GTX 1660 OR RTX 2060
Ram: 10GB DDR3
LED Monitors: Samsung 22" BX2331 LED" 1920x1080 2ms Full HD
Motherboard: GIGABYTE X58A-UD7
SSD 128GB & WD 1TB
PSU: Bitfenix Formula Gold 750W
System type: Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit

I would go with 24" 1080p 144Hz.. preferably with FreeSync so it could potentially work with GTX 10 series or newer Nvidia. New Nvidia cards work with FreeSync now (with a few exceptions when it comes to cheap monitors).

But isn't freesync for AMD only? Or is there a way for it to become Nvidia compatible too?

Nvidia released a driver update some time ago that allows FreeSync to be compatible with Nvidia GTX 10 series and new GPUs. FreeSync is royalty-free and free to use, so any GPU maker can allow their GPUs to utilize it.

Your going to struggle to hit the frame rate for 144hz with your setup. You really need to update your CPU/Mobo/Ram.

Given that 144hz are more common the. The others you listed price wise it will be the best option

Opinion - Adaptive sync is more important than a better GPU; because adaptive sync and the monitor itself outlives a single GPU's performance and lifespan.

True. Adaptive sync is pretty great but if you cant maintain a threshold and dip to low you will notice severe stuttering.

None of the GPUs he mentioned would cause severe stuttering at 1080p.

*Edit: I just realized his CPU is quite a bit older.
