[SOLVED] I want to check if the GTX 1070 Ti would work with my build

So I've done some research about my PC and decided to purchase the Gigabyte Gaming GTX 1070 Ti (it still hasn't arrived). I checked the compatibility of my components and everything seemed to be fine. I just want to make sure that my new GPU won't get fried. My main concern is the PSU.

My components:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P67A-D3-B3
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600
Power Supply: Corsair HX650W
RAM: DDR3 8GB

You have an older model Corsair HX series , but it's solid in terms of quality and it's enough power. Shouldn't be an issue running it in your setup. The CPU will hold the GPU back a little bit.

Thank you so much for your help! I'm aware of the problems you've mentioned but I needed a new GPU desperately, I'll be upgrading in the future.
