I have been trying various softwares and methods for the past few hours and I can't seem to clone my ssd to a larger one without keeping all the partitions... I just want to copy my C: to the larger one and have a lot more space... I have tried merging the partitions with easus, or extending volumes via disk managment (error: can't convert to dynamic because security is enabled on one or more partitions). I have used macrium reflect, acronis, easeus backup, and they ALL copy the harddrive as a partition on the newer harddrive 🙁

Pls help.

Many thanks!

Solution
EaseUS has an option in the clone/target drive/edit menu to open the target drive up to use its full volume. Works for me. Have your tried it?

Just so that we're all on the same page, please show us a screencap of your current Disk Management window.

Ok I had another look in EaseUS after formatting the harddrive (for like the 10th time)..and I saw you can indeed click 'edit' on the target harddrive.. then if you click the 'active' tick box, you get the option to slide the partition to take up the whole drive.

Thanks !

They should make that feature a bit more obvious, imo.
