Running win 10 (old desktop), new desktop sent back was win 11 if that means anything. MY new desktop went bye-bye. I had backed up the new h/d to an external h/d before it went back to the company. I copied all the files from my old desktop and put them on the new desktop when I started up the new desktop. Now I just want the last 60 days of files in the external h/d so I can copy them to the old desktop that is still working. Is there a command or way of taking them from the external h/d and copying them into the right directories on the old desktop? Or can I just find which new files (60 days or less old) I have on the external h/d so I can manually put them in the right directories on the old desktop?

Open a command prompt, then it's simple
Code:
xcopy <source folder> <target folder> /D:06-30-2022 /e /c
/D parameter will copy all files modified after June 20th, 2022
/E will cause even empty folders to be copied
/C will cause to continue in case of error
You may want to check other parameters with "xcopy /?", like /L or /F, /LOG:<log file>
