I want to create a keyboard shortcut that will enter a text string at my cursor location.

I work on a helpdesk and regularly have to include lengthy email addresses in my emails and documents. I want to create keyboard shortcuts to insert these text strings into my documents and fields. I currently cut-and-paste from a sticky note but that is a clunky workaround.
