I want to create Server based Gaming Rig

I want to create server based gaming rig. Will the following configuration be possible.
Motherboard: SUPERMICRO X10QBL-CT
CPU: 4 x INTEL XEON E7-8867 v3
GPU: 4WAY-SLI NVIDIA TITAN X 12GB
RAM: 32 x CRUCIAL TECHNOLOGY DDR3 32GB

Why? For the extreme cost of such a rig, you'll not be able to take advantage of its power with any games on the market. More is not always more.

Theoretically, the build should work. However, you'll likely need multiple power supplies and an advanced cooling system to manage the heat and power requirements of such a rig. This "industrial" type rig will demand way more than a typical PC.

Practical performance-wise, this is massive overkill for even the most advanced home user.

The pci-e slots might accomodate 4 Titans. However 2 are 16X's and 2 are 8X's.

And the RAM @ 32GB, 8GB per processor seems lean.

I will build it even price quote is ready. I live in New Delhi,India here at a place called Nehru Place we get every possible computer hardware and software component for very low price with legit warranty. Te total price will be near $16,500(INR11,00,000).
The reason I am building it is that it will run for long, even if I throw any new game on it without need of up-gradation from time to time. I have seen many of my friends upgrade their hardware from time time as all of us like to play games on ultra resolution,3d and with high fps possible. Some of them have spend nearly as much as 10% of this build only for single time upgrade. And I don't want to have the tension of selling old hardware unit to buy new one. I want it to run any new at ultra resolution for at-least 5-8 years.

What operating system do you intend to use? 1TB of memory is extreme to say the least and will honestly be a huge waste of money as nothing on the market (or in the next few years) likely to use even a fraction of that memory. I would strongly suggest you not exceed 128GB (64GB or even 32GB would meet your needs).

Just a thought. I really want to see pictures of this mega-system when you are done.

Building this PC is like using a cruise missile on your house to get rid of a spider. 4 titans isn't smart especially with the new HBM cards coming next year. Just wait 6 months to a year and you will have a better PC that doesn't cost as much as a car.

My humble apologies I totally missed the Terrabyte of RAM. It just didn't register.
D'uh. I think I got stuck on the Quad CPU config and 'gaming' in the same build.

Gaming is max'd out at 4 cores, so four fast cores defines the genre with single
core speed still mostly being the standard.

The X5690 @ 8 cores holds no advantage over 4790K @ 4 cores in gaming.

Using the four Titans in a SuperMicro server quad environment doesn't get
the 'ultimate build and forget' designation.

Four Titan X's can't do 3 screen 4K yet for the great immersive experience.

Aside from practical considerations like the amount of time spent setting up
and tuning a four way SLI for what is at best a losing proposition for high
end 4K play at the moment there is a very fast oncoming wave where there
is a stacked memory becoming available which is one of the things needed
combined with the new Pascal chipset design that says it is going to be a
gamechanger, pun intended.

The trouble with trying to tie down the future is that it is so fluid that it can
bulge and leak out in completely unexpected directions.

With all that said, fast cores, dual GPU's and a motherboard that can carry
the load forward for at least a two full generation time frame would be your
best bet. I get the big server base to stand on. But for the overkill to actual
effect ratio this config isn't going to bring enough benefits over time.

The SR2 classified allowed overclocking of Westmere Xeons. By the time you
configured it and found the edges and limitations prices for faster processors
were coming down and more core and faster single core speeds were going
up. If you want to make configuration and tweaking your hobby you can do
things like this.

BUT:

I also think that you should have exactly what you want. That's what I did once but
I had a far lesser budget and a less clear endpoint. For your money you can have ultra
power and the cutting edge that's upgradable. There's no way to use what your plan
called for. And as Knicks said, all your stuff was in the house when you won against
that spider.

It's too early for a terrabyte of RAM. 128GB of DDR4 is sufficient overkill.
On a motherboard that will hold its value and support the full load: SuperMicro X10DAi
throw in a couple of Intel Xeon E5-2697 v3 @ 2.60GHz with turbo mode to 3.6GHz.
There's nowhere to go yet on 4K multiple screens so 2x Titan X is also bang for the buck.
And you should have the best 4K screen like a Acer Predator X34 Curved IPS NVIDIA
G-sync Gaming Monitor 21:9 WQHD Display which you can double up when more
powerful cards become available.
For worry free and long life power you can get a nice new:
Corsair AX1500i ATX 80+ Titanium @1500W or,
EVGA SuperNOVA P2 ATX 80+ Platinum @1600W

I will be using Windows Server 2016 Preview or Server 2012 R2. They say Server 2016 is good for gaming but because it is a preview build it may cause some lagging problems. If that happens I will switch to Server 2012 R2.

64GB RAM cards cost like nearly 3 times the 32GB RAM cards. It is way out of my budget.

Now about low price of the hardware components. Yes I do get hardware components for very low price in a place called Nehru Place in New Delhi,India. NP(Nehru Place) is basically an office hub turned computer component market. Basically was build for offices and banks from Inside but take down by hardware shops from outside. Now the ratio of people visiting NP for computer components is more than people visiting for offices and banks.

The reason the price is so low. The products here are directly dumped from factories all over the world in very large numbers. So the shipping and transportation charges become negligible for that huge supply. Secondary nearly all big private and government organizations and companies get their computer and networking components from here in bulk. So due to that reason the price of components gets even lower for individual persons as either tax on it completely gets negated or gets very low(depending on components eg.RAM has its tax completely negated as it is brought in high quantity by companies whereas GPU will have tax on it but very less compared to outside sources). And YES 99% items we get here have legit warranty because they are supplied to big private or government organizations and if not legit the companies can file a solid case against them. So this is how I got the quote that low.
