[SOLVED] I want to install 2 Hard Drives in my PC

Hi everyone!

I just purchased a refurbished HP Elite 8300 CMT which comes with an older Hitatchi 2 TB HDD Drive (no software installed). I would like to move that drive to another slot (D?) and use my new Seagate HDD drive for the main C drive. Should I remove that drive - replace it with the new drive and set up Windows 10 first and then install the older drive? I'm not sure how to proceed with this so any help would be appreciated!

Physical location of the drive (which bay in the case it occupies) has no effect on how it will be visible by the system. What's important is the SATA port on the motherboard - you want your new drive connected there, and the old drive moved to another port. During Windows installation, disconnect the old drive completely.
