[SOLVED] I want to know about Isolating Bad Sectors of a Hard Drive on Windows 10 64 bit

HI,
Best Wishes.I just Want to isolate Bad Sectors of a HDD in Windows 10 64 bit. After lots of diagnosing the Problems(Frozen,Blue Screen & lots of Hanging & Unable to (Copy/Paste) or (Cut/ Paste) across the HDD, most of All,Unable to install Updates Problems.I have used Built-In Windows Troubleshooting,chkdsk,Mini tool Partition Wizard,AOMEI Partition Assistant,Crystal Disk Info. And All of Them pointed towards the HDD & the Bad Sectors in That. The HDD We r talking about is an 1TB Toshiba Sata. It has 4 Partitions & Most of My Issues are related to the System Drive C🙁490 GB). After doing all of the Diagnosing,I have found that only the C: partition has 1368 Bad Sectors and the total space occupied is 896KB. Other Partitions are just fine.Now the main reasons of My writing This to U are I want to know if I can Repair those Damaged Sectors & if not Can I isolate those Sectors & How(Please try to provide Detailed Procedures/Solutions involving both of the Issues.I am reaching out to U after lots of Tries.Best Regards.

Run your command prompt as administrator and then type this: chkdsk C: /r

That will scan for bad sectors and attempt to repair any errors.

If you are getting bad sectors, your drive is probably going to be failing soon. Aside from some nasty malware, there is no good reason why your bad sector counts would be increasing if not for some sort of head platter interactions which should not ever be happening.

you can run the above checkdisk and it will mark all known bad sectors.
Once a hard drive starts getting bad sectors things get worse really fast.
Your best option is to replace it as soon as possible, before all data on it is lost.

Almost always these syptoms mean you need a new drive, backup your data immediately if there's anything you don't want to lose.
I'd ignore the rest of my post and replace the drive if it was me honestly.

In very rare occasions where a few sectors are damaged in an isolated event I have had success using the manufacturers tools for low level formatting which reallocates the bad sectors to some hidden spare sectors that drives keep in reserve. However it totally wipes the drive in the process and I couldn't find a Toshiba tool with google, the drive I fixed was a western digital. You also can't boot off the drive if you want to low level format it.

If you wan't to try that look for a low level format tool - it is not the same as what windows does.
