I want to know what is the d.o.c.p in general and what should i do with it?

Hello i have asus prime a320m-a mobo with 2 x 8gb ram ddr4 hyper x furry at 2666mhz in cpuz it show 1333mhz i want to know when i enable d.o.c.p in bios i see the ram speed is 2667mhz now so is this normal and i should enable my d.o.c.p or keep it disabled as default i have a ryzen 5 1600x and a gtx 1070 and thank you will i benefit from any improvement if enabled?

DOCP is the Asus equivalent of XMP profiles which basically is preset profiles for overclocking your ram. I would leave it enabled at your ram's maximum compatible speed which in your case is 2666mhz.

DDR is an abreviation for "Double Data Rate", and it is correct that you see 1333Mhz in CPUz, since the ram runs at double the clock rate.

I suggest enable DOCP, and see if your machine is stable.

Thats fine-if you're really worried though you can set the profile and then run diagnostics such as memtest86 to test stability

All DDR shows in single channel rates in CPUZ. 1333 x 2 (dual channel) is 2666. Your RAM is running as it should.

Yes, enable dcop, it is AMD version of XMP for overclocking memory

Hello my ddr4 ram 16gb 8 x 2 gb stick of hyper x fury ram running at 2666mhz with r5 1600x are running at 2666mhz i see the speed in the bios and in cpuz it shows 1333mhz so x 2 will make 2666mhz so the ram speed is normal and as it is supposed to run so if my ram speed is normal and default should i enable than the docp profile or keep it default disabled i dont want to overclock and my boad is asus prime a320m-a that dont support overclock i want the ram to run at the speed that are supposed to not more or less so the main question is if the ram is working fine and with the speed that is supposed why to enable the docp and the speed when it is enabled is 2667 mhz instead if 2666mhz that is not a big change

I am not spaming but no body has given me a good answer i want an answer with explanation you say to enable it and i see if tje docp is enabled the speed will change from 2666 to 2667 not big deal i know that it should be enabled when the ram run at lower speed that it is intended to run at but mine runs at the speed that are make of the 2666mhz speed so why to enable the docp if the ram runs normaly at the speed that is intended i dont want to overclock or do any change or voltage because i dont know how and dont want to damsge my pc i only need performance for gaming thats it you are making me confused because of the docp if i should enable or disable why to enable and why to disable give me a good answer and i wont ask anymore thank you. Enable to get the maximum speed of my ram but i am already running at the max speed of my ram snd disable it because my ram are running at full speed

Lol, if it's 2666mhz then no, you don't need to enable docp. Regardless enabling it won't affect anything as it will run at the same speed and voltage.
