I want to know what the max memory I can fit in this computer

I have a question.

I have a dell xps 730 and want to install more memory.

I currently have (2) G.Skill DDR3 that say 2gb x 2.

Is that 4gb per stick? I have four slots.

Not sure what motherboard I have.

It says Dell on it, that is all that I see.

I want to know what the max memory I can fit in this computer,

U can use 8GB RAM max.

XPS 730 (DDR3-1600MHz) Memory Specifications

What OS are you using? 32bit or 64bit? If it's 32bit, windows won't natively recognise anymore than approximately 3.5Gb.

U can use only 2GB per stick.

To get 8GB, u need 4x2GB RAM sticks : )

And x64bit windows, to use all 8GB.
