Question I Want To Overclock My 2400Mhz RAM But I Need Some Help

I have a Corsair (CMK8GX4M1A2400C16) 16-16-16-39 1.20V memory kit in a quad channel setup up ( 4 x 8GB). I've been wanting to overclock my RAM for a while but all the talk about timings seems a bit confusing. I wanted to know if anyone has overclocked a similar memory kit to around 2800Mhz or 2933Mhz so I could know what timings I should apply and how much more voltage should a add. I know its based on silicon lottery but I just want a basis. Thanks

What CPU/Mobo combination do you have? That is your basis as to what could be done as it depends what both can handle. What is your PSU and it's voltage headroom like ?

I have an i7-5820k @4.4Ghz 1.30v paired up with an ASUS X99 Deluxe Mobo. My PSU is a Thermaltake toughpower Grand 1050W 80+ Gold. Just incase you need it as well my graphics card is a ASUS Strix GTX 980, so I have a a lot of headroom because my PSU is kinda overkill for my PC.
