I want to overclock my gpu core clock

I have radeon r9 390 8GB Vram gpu
ga z97x sli motherboard
16 ram
600W power supply
and i7 4790 3.60 ghz CPU
and I wanted to ask if I can overclock my GPU core clock and what is the risk
one more thing I had some issuse with this gpu. it didnt start and I had to delete my old gpu drivers and stuff to get it work
also im using msi afterburner to overclock (if I will)

What psu is it? I would probably suggest leaving the voltage alone and seeing how far you could go, because 600w is not much for overclocking a 390.
