I want to purchase a new portable hard disk of 1 TB. wich company should i purchase which can go for a long life and have a better performance.

Nowadays, the market is so competitive so they are all pretty much the same and infact many may even be made by the same company!! Having said that, I recommend the Samsung M3 or a WD elements drive. If you want something really rugged try the LaCie Rugged or Transcend StoreJet.
