I built this great system back in 2013 that still serves me well:
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U9B SE2 37.9 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Samsung 850 Pro Series 512GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card
Case: Cooler Master CM 690 II (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair CX 750W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply
Optical Drive: LG UH12NS29 Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)
BUT.... I now want to run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and it is inadequate for that.
I want to retain the Win7 OS which has accumulated a whole lot of freebee applications that are useful to me. I like my Win7 setup and don't want to try to rebuild it in Win10.
So here's my plan:
How likely am I to be successful with this plan? I've built two systems on my own but really just have beginner skills and knowledge.

So here's my plan:
- Replace my MOBO, CPU, GPU with something that will give good Flight Simulator performance at 1440 resolution.
- Get my existing Win7 system operating with this new hardware.
- Add Win10 dual boot capability and install Flight Simulator 2020.
