I am using linux mint 19.2 and i have installed easystroke for mouse button management.
Can I map only the ctrl key to the mouse button 8 using the easystroke utility?
I want to map the ctrl key to the mouse side button.
On the web browser, i want to return to the previous page by pressing "left arrow key" on the keyboard while pressing "button 8".

I'm really sorry.
I found a way to map only the ctrl key to mouse button 8.

Here is a quote:

1.
In Preferences Tab> Behavior> Additional Buttons, specify Button 8 as "Gesture Button" and "Instant Gesture" to trigger gesture recognition.

2.
Pressing button 8, which was specified as a gesture button earlier, will immediately complete the registration of the stroke.

3.
Next, click the Type column in the same line, and specify the type of action to be executed from the menu to "Ignore".

4.
When you click on the details field, you will be prompted for a key, so hold down Alt and press the appropriate alphabet key. This allows you to register only the Alt key.
