HI, I bought a pc a long time ago, and this is it

I want to play metal gear solid 5 with no problems, when it comes out. I was thinking, if I get a new powersupply, and gpu (also thinking gtx960 that comes with mgs5), will it increase my performance? Or do I also need a new cpu? If I get a new cpu I would need a new motherboard... and I'm on a really tight budget right now

If you are still using integrated graphic then your first upgrade should be a video card. They are easy to install. You have an empty x16 PCIe slot, you put the card there. Suggest this article to choose your VIDEO card. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107.html

Unfortunately you have a very low output power supply in that case: Internal 300W (100V-240V). Any video card that has an external power connector will not work with your PSU. The fastest video you can install without a new PSU is the nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti. Good news it's easy to switch to a new power supply. They come out with 4 screws, and then you switch wires from the old PSU to the new on One at a time. Doing it one at a...

Make sure you get a quality PSU. Ask on the forum giving your video card choice.

Aside: I've upgraded many HP systems for gaming for my kids. I've got 5 running in the house now. You'll be happy with the result. The only warning is airflow in the cases is not great. If you end up with a gtx960 (great card) try to get one that dumps the hot air outside the case. Or look at how you might be able to mount a fan.
