I want to unlock my motherboard

I have a motherboard that i want to unlock, so i can overclock my cpu.
I dont know if i am able to unlock it.

Specs:

Motherboard: Acer MCP73PV
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2,4 GHz
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 9600gt 512mb ram
RAM: 4gb
Power Supply: 400w (i dont know what company its made by)

Your processor is not what they call an unlocked cpu and you can not overclock it. That is a 11 year old cpu not much you can do with it.

Ive seen linus tech tips overclock my cpu. But he had a different bios

Even if you did manage to OC it, I doubt it would give you any notable performance in games. I think you're due for an upgrade.
