I have an FX8300 processor and now I want an upgrade.
Would be the Ryzen7 2700x a good performance jump from the previous CPU?
In my country the Ryzen7 2700x only 130$.
I have a MSI GTX1060 Gaming X.
I already have a MSI x370 Gaming Plus motherboard for a new ryzen processor.

This is the list of CPU that MSI x370 Gaming Plus motherboard support along with the required bios. The motherboard may require 1st gen ryzen to update the bios before it can work with 2nd or 3rd gen Ryzen.

Sorry I forgot to write that I have already everything (MSI x370 Gaming Plus, Viper RGB 16gb 3200mhz ram).
I only need a new cpu in 120-140$ range.
The main question is that the Ryzen 7 2700x in this price could be a good upgrade from my old processor?

Coming from an FX, just about any Ryzen will be a significant upgrade.

Even an old i3 is considerably better than an FX overclocked to 5GHz in many cases. Anything current from AMD (any Ryzen) or Intel (8000-series and up) will run circles around your FX8300.

The Ryzen7 2700x would be an outstanding upgrade to ANY FX cpu. It's roughly twice as fast and 4x as capable.

2700x will be a huge performance jump, go for it for that price, though for a little more the 3600 is a good choice too, better single core perfromance.
