[SOLVED] I want to upgrade my GPU from built PC.

Hi guys,
I bought a pc that this guy built downtown and he sold it for 300 bucks, specs are:
Intel i7 4770
ddr3 16 GB ram
Nvidia GeForce gt 730 4gb
300 watt PSU
so the GPU is kinda crappy and can't handle games with high quality, e.g. overwatch, CSGO - so I want to upgrade it. I was looking at a GTX 1050 ti and I just want to know if it is worth it? help because this is my first time upgrading a pc item and I'm kinda confused. EDIT: gt 730 runs games on low-quality fine, but I want to aim higher and play CSGO with better quality, and also because I want to emulate GameCube and other consoles that don't really run well on it.

That's a pretty tight budget not because you cant find a decent gpu around that price but because you will need to upgrade your psu as well. You're most likely need to spend around 200 bucks or at least 150 bucks. I would recommend you to buy a 550w psu which is the Corsair CX550M 80+ Bronze. Depending on your region, i see some get it for 40 dollars but it costs about 70 dollars in my region which is southeast asia due to the covid 19 outbreak. You can also buy a 450w CX450M 80+ Bronze but you will not have headroom for overclocking and less futureproof as well. Now with that psu settled, you can either get a gtx 1060 6gb or rx 580 8gb. Whichever is cheaper. Personally, i would go for the rx580. If the price of the rx580 8gb is significantly higher than the 4gb, then just get the 4gb. With either the gtx 1060 or rx 580, you can play a lot more games than just csgo.

Now if you absolutely can't spend any more than 100 bucks. Your option would be the gtx 1050 ti. You can find those for under 100 to 120 bucks range. If you're not planning to buy a new psu, can i know the exact model of your current psu?

I told my dad if we could replace that PSU and he said it might fail because it is too old.
as for the GPU, I am a teen dude I don't have much money, maybe at eid later this month I could get some money to buy a GPU. thanks for your time
EDIT: I don't want to overclock anything as my CPU is already overclocked by the guy who gave it to me, 3.4 GHz to 3.8 GHz, so yeah.

A 1050ti will run on that hp 300w psu fine.

In that case with your current psu, a gtx 1050 ti is definitely the way to go

a) Buy a new power supply that has PCI-E cables
b) Buy a graphics card that doesn't require a PCI-E power connection.
