I want to upgrade my Graphics Card but don't know if I can do it with my current specs

A few months ago I got a pre-built PC for my birthday and I loved it but I want to upgrade the graphics card, however I don't know which graphics cards are compatible with my current specs, and would like to know if I just remove my current graphics card and then place the new one (and it just installs automatically) or is there a procedure to follow. These are my current specs: 450w power supply.
Intel i5 7400
Mother board ECS H110 (32gb DDR4)
Nvidia 1050 2gb GDDR5
RAM DDR4 8gb 2133 MHz
HDD 1 TB

I would like to buy a 1070 or 1080 graphics card but I don't know if it's possible with my current specs...

What make and model PSU can you see the sticker on it?

The minimum required power supply requirement for the GTX 1070/1080 is 500W. The only way you could probably get away with 450W is if your PSU has an 80+ efficiency rating (Bronze or better). The rest of your specs would work just fine.

PSU has an 80+ efficiency rating (Bronze or better) ...Doesn't mean you can run a 1070 or 1080 on a 450w.

GTX1070 and GTX1080 need aux power in the form of two 6 pin pcie power leads or one 8 pin lead.
It takes a very good quality psu for that, and pre builts will usually offer only minimal power supplies to support what was initially installed.
Check the psu; if it does not have the requisite power leads for the card you are buying, then it will not be able to properly run the card.
Do not be tempted to use molex to pcie adapter cables.
Best to include a good psu in your budget.

Have enough power and make sure it fits in your case.
