i want to upgrade my pc for better indy game performance

i have an emachines el that has 2 gigs of ram, an intel celeron, and an nvidia 310 that i installed not too long ago, i want to upgrade the the ram to 16 gigs of ddr3 memory since thats what my computer can support, i want to upgrade my gpu to an nvidia 630 or anything that i can fit in my pc that will give me maximum performance while playing games like fnaf or limbo or inside, and finally i want to upgrade my cpu to a core i3 plz tell me if this will work i also wanted to mention that the reason i want to upgrade was because i want to record this gameplay for youtube but everytime i open up a game and try to record it i get major lag

Which is your motherboard? You need to be sure the sockets are compatible between cpus to do a swap.
