So - what's the number?
I'd upgrade ram to 16GB, get SSD (if you don't have it already) and
upgrade GPU (this one highly depends on your budget).
GTX 1060 - for a minor improvement, GTX 1070 - for a larger one, but prices for graphics cards are really bad at this time.
^^ Let's start with "unlimited" and work down from there.

I'm 16 years old and have a minimal wage paying part time job, so not a crazy amount of money, just want something that'll keep me set up for a few years. I want 60+ fps on all games medium-high settings. Keeping everything else compatible if possible too

 


I wish I could spend that much :/
 


Some other people told me with my current parts if I'd want to upgrade my gpu I'd also have to upgrade my cpu and vice versa. If I were to upgrade my graphics card what would you guys suggest that'd still go good with the i3-6100? Or would I just be better off upgrading both?

Would a 1060 be okay with the i3-6100? Any bottle necking?
