Question I want to upgrade my RAM.

I am currently using an old Dell XPS 8300 and I was wanting to upgrade the ram from 8gb to 16gb DDR3. Was wondering what the best way to go about it would be. From my research my PC is only compatible with DDR3. I guess more or less I need to know some reliable brands and the ideal way to go about it.

Dell XPS 8300 supports 4x4GB max configuration.

Existing speed shows 665.1 MHz i.e., 1333MHz (667 x 2 - double data rate). Recommended speed by manufacturer is 1333MHz. So, the newegg may or may not work. I think it will not work. You have to go for 1333MHz only in my opinion.
