I want to upgrade RAM

I want to upgrade my RAM, but my PC only supports a 2Gb stick and a 4Gb stick, which I have. What do I need to do to upgrade it further?

so what u are saying is that your motherboard, only allows u to put 2gigs ram in one of ur dimm slots and 4b in the other ?
