I want to boost fps and get better graphics will this upgrade be good for my pc or should I upgrade something else?

GPU: Intel(R) Core (TM) i3-6300 CPU @ 3.80GHz 3.79GHz
CPU: GTX 1050

Solution
Little shocked no one has mentioned this but I strongly expect any improvement will be limited by your cpu. You are running a dual core with hyperthreading, the bare minimum recommended these days for AAA games is a good quad core. There are many modern games where your average FPS I would expect to be under 60 due to the limitations of your cpu. Once you reach the maximum FPS your cpu can deliver going up in gpu power won’t give you any more FPS.

Rtx 2070 costs slightly over the 1070 ti right now and performs similar to 1080 ti. And future performance of the 2070 will increase greater which will definitely result in it outperforming 1080 ti.

Unless youre buying used or getting s good deal on the 1070 ti. On average looks like they got for $50 cheaper than 2070.

I've got a very good deal on a used 1070 ti of 350$

Given that a 1070ti can be found new for under $400, that's actually a pretty bad deal for a used one. For most computer parts, if you're not getting a third off the price, you're not being adequately paid for the risk you're absorbing.

I3 6300 will get you between 80 and 100 fps in most games at ultra settings on 1080p. That 1050 right now is definitely the bottleneck.

Sure the 1070 ti might make it the bottleneck, but at least at that point his framerate would double.
