It should work fine however I'm not entirely sure how to mount it vertically above the SSD slots if that's what your planning.
If you want to vertically mount a GPU, get a case which is designed to vertically mount the GPU's. My case has everything turned 90 degrees, which faces the PCIe slots vertically, and all I have to do is mount the GPU like any other. In such a position, the GPU hangs a lot more naturally, and the weight of the GPU won't cause any sag.
If the case you are buying is turned vertically, then you don't have to do anything special. Just follow the directions the case gives you.
well the Thermaltake View 27 Black Edition Gull Wing Window SPCC ATX Mid Tower Tt LCS Certified Computer Chassis with Red LED Riing Fan CA-1G7-00M1WN-02

I found what you are talking about. It's not what I was talking about. They are calling the type you are looking at a "Floating GPU". It should come with everything you need in the case.
oh well floating GPU then lol, I like how it looks
It might look cool, but the SilverStone 90 degree cases should have better air flow (tests in the past showed this). If you want a quiet case, check out the link I gave earlier with the SilverStone. The one you are looking at should work fine, however. It would look nice too. It's likely noisier than most.

Yeah, it appears Newegg is having technical difficulties. I had the same issue when I went back to revisit their site.
