Hey all. I wanted to start Modding my own PC. Where should I start?? coming up with a Idea first,
Drawing my ideas on paper, writing down everything I need, the parts I need for the system?
I mean, I don't want to copy someone else's mod.

I'm brand new at this, brand new so I need a lot of help.
Thanks in advanced.

Buy a $20 case to ruin. A couple of them even.

Its so much more enjoyable to work on a side case, not one that you depend on or need for anything.

You'll scrap so many ideas, but it is a fun hobby. A PC with built in amplifier and proper speaker output has always been something I've wanted to put together, but interference and inconsistent power makes it difficult.

The idea is where you come in, if you need help implementing it, don't hesitate to ask.

You will need a dremel, a good drill, and a jigsaw would go a long way.

I usually get two of the case I'm going to use (one to use for now, one to mod). I put all my parts in one of them, then I just stare at it for sometimes almost an hour. Eventually I figure out exactly what I want to do, then I mock it up with clay on the case that I'm not using. If I'm satisfied with the look, I start cutting and/or connecting either with heat or rivets. If I'm not satisfied, I take all the clay off, then take another good look at the case I'm using to hold my components, and go through the process again.

(I know, I'm weird)

If I'm to need a dremel. a good drill & a jigsaw I'm going to need a lot of help, I nearly cut my a while a justing a sharp metal case.

I like the idea of buying a cheap case and ruining it. I like the Idea of destroying it, just for the fun of it.

I have ton's of Ideas but it's almost impossible to do.

Thanks for the help.
