Hi!
The graphics card in question MSI GTX1060 v328 Rev. 3.0.

I couldn't find the good pcb diagram release, so I don't know what the 2 burnt components correspond to.
(they are pointed by the red arrows below)

They appear to be close to video output. Could I just unsolder them and use the other video outputs?

I don't think so. It appears to be connected to one side of that (probably HDMI) slot through the PCB though. I'm not sure if it will work if a component is removed.

Quick question: rather than your approach to remove the faulty component and test other display out ports, not removing it and testing the other ports would be the better approach right? This way, you wont have to go though the trouble of desoldering that component, if it doesn't work, desoldering that component wont give you any luck either.

The computer refuses to boot with the card. I wonder if the burned component does not cause a short circuit.

I found the PCB schematic for v328 Rev7.0. But not for mine GPU Rev3.0 (except by paying on repairlap.com). Does anyone know how I could get it?
This would allow me to identify what these 2 components are used for and to know the characteristics to possibly replace them.

The photo is of poor quality. I don't think the previous owner attempted a repair.
It seems to me that the failure was caused by a short circuit on an HDMI socket using the wrong cable (GPU <> Android box).
