I wiped my HDD with a magnet. Any way to fix?

I wiped my HDD with a magnet because it was corrupt thinking i could just re-format and use it again. Is there any way to fix?

Actually I'm a bit curious what type of magnets did you use, because most of the magnets one can find lying around are no wear near as powerful as they should be to wipe a hard drive, although it might damage the part of the data and the partitions for that matter. I'd say that if you've done that well you probably won't be able to recover any data from it. 🙁

If you really have managed to erase anything with the magnet then the disk is now unusable. You will have scrambled the low-level formatting information.

Sorry to have to say it, but as @Ijack stated, the drive is probably dead. You could always try it with another computer or connect it externally to see if it works, but chances are that it won't. 🙁
