I wish to install Malwarebytes on my computer (HP with Windows 8.1 and it won't read the Cd provided

How do I get my new computer to accept and read an installation CD?

Can you just download the program from the internet and use your CD key as an activation key?

^ Do exactly this. Just download the program and activate it with the key on the CD sleeve.
