Hey so right now i have in my option a shit build, with that being said awhile back i had a I5-3350P as my very first gaming desktop which kicked ass for 4 days until I unintentionally blew it up and was forced to get a shitty dell motherboard and use a I3-2120 for about 3 weeks until i could upgrade to a I5-2500K which is what i have right now, so with that being said i would kindly like to know if the picture below would benefit me or not?

i would recommend spending more bucks and get a :

ryzen 5 1600 : 85$ on amazon

b450m pro4 asrock : 70$ on amazon
and keep that corsair vengeance memory it is really good
that would cost 220$ but it is worth it for future upgrading if u needed to change your gpu the ryzen 5 1600 is a 6c/12t processor it is much better than ryzen 3 1200 that is just 4c/4t

and i don't recommend any a320 motherboard cause you might get into a problem with such a board like a320

btw the maximum gpu for a r5 1600 is a rx 5700 xt or rtx 2070

I doubt a Ryzen 1200 is much faster for gaming than a 2500k, it would be for other stuff that makes use of new instructions and stuff
i don't think upgrading to ryzen 3 1200 is worth it , it is just 2-7 fps difference :

i know this is a overclocked 2500k but it would be similar at stock for both cpus

and here is a passmark score for , ryzen 5 1600 , ryzen 3 1200 , 2500k :
https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/AMD-Ryzen-3-1200-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-1600-vs-Intel-i5-2500K/3029vs2984vs804

you can see that that ryzen 3 1200 is slightly better than 2500k (300 score better)
but the ryzen 5 1600 is much much better than both
so for paying 45$ more bucks on a b450 and ryzen 5 1600 is worth it , it is more future proof and better

Might be equal to a little bit of difference but I guess the answer here is that you can later upgrade your PC, especially if you bought a good motherboard not needing any more bios update. Stick with the AM4 build as it's far more upgradeable. Ryzen 5 will be my best bet then upgrade it further in the future (where it will be cheaper and easier get a hold on to).

Intels latest release was a BS, expect more BS to come.

Go with the B450 board and ryzen 3 2200g (budget) or ryzen 5 (performance).
