I Would like some solid advice for the Linux Machine I am Building.

My budget for this build is $800. I can't go over that. This build will mainly be for programming and such as I am still learning Linux and I am heavily interested in tech. I plan to install Debian and most likely arch when I learn more about the command line. I guess I could be called a power user. I might do some light gaming in the future, probably only indie games, nothing like AAA Games. Any suggestions and or thoughts would be much appreciated. Also, this is my first build, so any advice would be nice too

for not so hardcore build, i suggest using iGPU Intel HD 4600 from intel
and why not small miniITX build?

i5 for powerful multitasking
2x 4GB ram (very useful for some memory hog program, like vmware/wine)
very small mini ITX case
superb 24" gaming monitor form asus, on sale
combo gaming keyboard/mouse
-- you can add Radeon 260X for $99 if you want dedicated gpu
