I would like to connect dual monitors but I only have 1 HDMI port and no other obvious types of display ports.

Since I have only 1 HDMI port am I limited to only 1 external monitor? I have a Type-C port but I have not been able to determine if it supports display output. My laptop does not have any VGA, Display Ports, or Mini Display Ports. Could I tell by checking device manager? The specs I have for the Type-C port do not help me at all but that may be due to my lack of knowledge. My product name is HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cc0xx, and my product number is 1KU11UA#ABA.

Thanks in advance.

Generally, monitors can only support one external monitor, unless you have a docking station.

You can use the laptop screen and an external monitor, two screens.

If you want dual monitors, your laptop may be able to run a USB C docking station and will run a USB 3 docking station. Keep in mind this would only really be good for basic use on those monitors, not for gaming. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KZNWKYU/ref=sspa_dk_detail_2?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B01KZNWKYU&pd_rd_wg=9CHYB&pd_rd_r=WKKVCF1F52VT98EBK4NH&pd_rd_w=WDGiw

For USB C docks, you would need to check with Dell support what will work.

Is it still in common use with connectors TYPE-C? I thought already of them slowly get rid of. And if there are additional HTML outputs on the monitor? Maybe if from the monitor to the monitor the connection does something to turn out? The technician of me is useless of course but maybe the idea will help)
