...I currently have Win 11 stuffed into Virtual Box and it's working well. But now I would like to release it from its prison and dual-boot it. The problem is this: Using Win 10 as my platform, I was able to put Win 11 in the Box using some alterations to the registry. But, thinking about it, I won't have that Win 10 platform to use. In a dual-boot situation both are completely separate and isolated from one another and so am wondering if this is even worth thinking about. But is it possible?
Ultimately I would like my choice of Win 10, Win 11 and Linux. But the Linux idea is for another discussion....

i recommend a second drive for that second os. helps keep any issues from creeping up if something goes wrong. you're best bet is to remove every drive but the one for windows 11 and then install to that. once it is up and running, then hook the others back up so you have access to everything.

on boot up use F8 to select which OS to boot. other ways to do it, but this way prevents many issues we see from the process.
