I would like to install a new HDD on my pc

There are are 2 sata ports free out of 4 in which 2 connected to existing hdd and dvd drive

so having two hdds (existing 500gb seagate) and a new one (1tb, going to buy,pls recommend) at same time have any problem?

if ok, what about the power?

My SMPS(Power supply) power is 180W

i see no unused power cables left out.....

So is there a thing like to split the existing power to sata.. like power splitter?

If available, doing so, due to power shortage, will make problems to system?... Do i need to upgrade power supply for this??

Also suggest a new internal hdd (itb) .. and best price...

Yes, there are Y cables to split power. For example, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812200468 . Adding another drive when you have one or more free SATA ports is easy (just do this: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/265764-32-guide-installed-disk-system ).

But 180W is an awfully small amount of power. Sure, a HDD will only draw another 5 watts, but it sounds like a machine with an awfully tight power budget. Maybe that is why the PSU only had two drive connectors? This is why I asked about the make and model.

I am completely agnostic as to brands of HDDs, so I won't reply to that part of the question.

Are you sure there are no free power connectors? And they are not just tied up? I don't see a tower PC with space for more drives only giving you two power connectors.

It doesn't say anything about the power supply other than 180W. It's using the Intel graphics, which is how it lives on only 180W, and it does have a total of three bays so there is indeed room - although I suspect that the OP will have to use a 5.25" bay and converter rail.

But there is no diagram / spec for the power supply, so I can't go any further with the question. Sorry.
