I would like to run my new game on high/ultra settings

Hi, I'm new to this forum so I apologize if I made any mistakes creating this thread. I recently made myself a custom desktop computer to act as a workstation and a place for me to play video games. However, I've been having trouble playing some games in high/ultra settings, especially Diablo 3 when it comes to playing it with other people. My current setup is as follows:

CPU: AMD A-10 5700 APU w/ Radeon HD Graphics
Motherboard: ASUS A88X-PRO
RAM: 8 GB of RAM
GPU: Radeon R9 270
Storage: Samsung Evo 120 GB SSD & 1TB Hard Drive
PSU: 550W

I've been trying to figure out what components are holding me back from playing these games. Or maybe can I even play these games under high/ultra settings under my current setup? Does anyone know what it could be? Thank you.

Thanks for replying. So do you also think that my current APU could affect its performance as well?

I would get this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 760K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor ($84.73 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($22.99 @ Micro Center)
Total: $107.72
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

That CPU is overclockable, and with the cooler I listed, you should be able to overclock it well, and get a solid bump in performance.

The R9 270 is a great card at 1080P. I use it, and I get Ultra settings in GRID 2 easily.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll consider it.
