The only things i want to keep from my current PC are my graphics card, CPU Cooler and my case. I have a GeForce GTX 1080 Sea-Hawk, Cooler Master Hyper 103 CPU Cooler and a Corsair Spec-03 Case. I currently have a I7-4770 processor and some very very old 4x4 GB Samsung DDR3 1,500 MHz RAM with a quite new Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard. I know by upgrading one of these things I will have to upgrade all of it which is why I would like to set a long term goal to get all of these at the same time. I do have some people who owe me money and some funds coming in soon so the long term goal might turn into a short term goal.
The upgrades should be enough to make it worth the upgrade, for example i do not want to upgrade my i7-4770 into a i7-6400k. i would like something that will make a clear and obvious difference in my games. (if its not obvious i am an extreme gamer and an trying to make an extremely good gaming PC)

Any help on this would be absolutely fantastic.

Thank you for your replies

The monitor i have is pretty good, i know what I'm going to get as an upgrade for it. and i also already have two SSD's i have 250GB for games and 120 for OS

just to add to this. i have Astro A50 Headphones and i don't think the motherboard i currently have supports them properly so if you guys could get a motherboard that supports them it would extremely helpful
