I am looking to upgrade my RAM and want to make sure that before I spent the $90 to upgrade, that the RAM will be compatible with the memory I am currently running.

Capacity 2048 MBytes
Memory Type: DDR2 PC2-6400
Speed 400 MHz (DDR2 800)
Supported Fqs: 266.7 MHz, 333.3 MHz, 400.0 MHz
Timings 4-4-4-12-16 @ 266. MHz @1.8 volts
Timings 5-5-5-15-20 @ 333.3 MHz @ 1.8 volts
Timings 6-6-6-18-24 @ 400.0 MHz @ 1.8 volts

I am looking to add another 4 GB so I can start making use of my 64 bit machine... here is what I am hoping to add:
Corsair 4GB DDR2

Everything looks like it matches up except maybe the timing. I am a newb when it comes to this stuff. Any help is appreciated!

Changing ram in a laptop is like rolling the dice in vegas. It may or may not work. Laptops have proprietary motherboards with few if any ram adjustments in the bios. Crucial has it's configurator software; if you list your system model number, it can match the ram to it. It's guaranteed to work. Also, if your board is limited to 2 gb total of ram, the new ram may not even post. List your system model number for more help.
