It is best practice to replace them entirely as mixed RAM modules can cause conflicts even if they the exact same models, and it isn't worth the headache IMO. That isn't always the case, but it's a 50/50 bet, and the last thing I'd want you to do is buy more RAM just to find it doesn't play nice with your other module and you can't use it anyway.Yes it is the correct laptop model. I have owned it since it was brand new. I should specify can I replace only one memory card instead of both of them? I love the computer and it has bee wonderful.....but only 2Gb is not enough.
