Hi folks,
So i picked myself up a RTX 3060 ti on ebay for £330, near mint condition. From what i'm hearing, the "best" all-round cpu to compliment this card in terms of price to performance for a gaming build would be the Ryzen 5 5600x. At least so say the biggest youtubers (LTT, Jayz2cents etc).
However, here in the UK, this CPU is still the best part of £200... (if you can finde one that is.) The i3-12100 can be found readily for less than £100. My question is, do i simply have to bite the bullet and pay over my budgt for the 5600x? Will the cheaper option noticeably cause cpu throttling and impact my gaming performance? Or will the i3-12100 be powerful enough for what i need?
Much thanks in advance.
