That CPU has 6 cores. Should be enough. You may want 32GB RAM so that you can run VMs to run Linux and a client OS.

Thats alot of ram i think we wont do any projects on university that require more than 8-16 but anyway thank you

You might need VMs, and that is where 32 GB of RAM makes sense.

Very likely to need at least 1 VM. A linux instance will undoubtedly be required. And a docker area would the second VM. I worked in software development for 35 years. I will stand by my 32GB recommendation...
