Hello I have the chance to up my i3 to a i5 3470 . Is it worth it for me? WIll I see any performance increase while I play? I have a Asrock H61M-DGS so I should be able to upgrade it right?
THis is my rig:

4GB DDR 3 RAM
Sapphire Radeon HD 5670

Solution
You should have no problem upgrading to the i5. Performance gains would vary depending on the game you are playing. I would say it depends on the price whether or not it would be a good upgrade.

You could really use a GPU upgrade and another 4GB of RAM if you're playing new AAA games.

What games do you play?

Ditto to MrN1ce9uy's comments. It depends on price. Overall it would be a nice upgrade but for newer games 8gb of ram and a better gpu would be important as well. The 5670 is a pretty weak gpu for gaming. The 5670 fell a good deal behind an old hd 4850 back in 2010 games. 512mb of vram isn't much. When I upgraded from the 4850 to the hd 7850 it was a good deal faster. Modern budget cards today are a good deal faster than my hd 7850.

It will depend on the games you play, if they're older games and not very gpu intensive like myst, command & conquer etc then it may not be as big of a deal. If looking to play any of the far cry or crysis type games, you'd notice a night and day difference with something like a gtx 1050ti for around $110.

It will help.

You only have 4GB of RAM. Consider this 3 year old game(Far Cry 4) .

I was using MSI AB If I only had 4GB in my PC gameplay would have been negatively affected. I was using almost 5GB of RAM. I use Ccleaner 's tools to modify my start-up list. I only start what is absolutely necessary so I don't have background programs hogging my resources. When/if you upgrade you should buy a new RAM kit(2x4GB). There is no guarantee old and new RAM, though identical, will play nice with each other. That will help your performance.

The same applies to your GFX card. It only has 1GB of VRAM. I was using a little over 2.7GB of VRAM. Doubling that amount https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127836 + the major performance difference will help a LOT. 4GB is preferred. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487291

Is it worth it? How much is the CPU? While it will help a little right now it will help more as the rest of your components match its performance. By that I mean it will be the "strongest" component in your PC. The others are the weakest links which will hinder the performance until they are upgraded.

Hey thx for the answers @all :)
I play like Dota 2 and Csgo. I would like to play GTA V and BF1.
The CPU upgrade would cost me 40€ because its from a friend. When buying RAM should i lokk for ddr3 1600? or should i conisder lower hz rates? And the most important thing will my GPU be good for those games too?

Is that what's in there right now? If so, then most likely you should. I can't offer anything definitive until I see your motherboard's make and model number. It will tell us/you what speeds your board supports.

Let's assume you have this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130571 . The simplest solution would be 8GB DDR3 1333MHz. SOmething like https://www.amazon.com/Komputerbay-1333Mhz-10600-10666-9-9-9-25/dp/B003OSTDPI/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1493803865.

No. Your GFX card isn't close to meeting the minimum requirements. Either of those cards I mentioned will work. You can look to your local online classifieds or an online retailer for used, refurbished and open-box options. I really can't offer a $50 or less new gfx card solution when GTA V and BF1 are at the table. They(the games) will like your new CPU. Or if you have a significantly higher budget let us know so we can offer more appropriate solutions.

Here you can find all the infos I got from CPUZ

I have like 300€ the 50€ are only for the i5 that I can get not my budget.

So a 750TI or an 1050TI is there a diffrence in Palit or MSI or Asus?

300€ Budget
-50€ CPU
-60€ RAM 8GB ripjaws
-------------
= 190€

A 1050 Ti would be a great choice. A 1060 would be an even better choice because they're on sale right now.

But to make sure, what power supply do you have?

I have a KissQUiet 420W will it be enough or do I need 500W or more?

At least 500W is preferred. The 1060 only calls for 400W but getting just enough with a PSU with a dual rail design(isn't necessarily a bad thing) isn't something I would do. I recommend Seasonic 520W https://www.heise.de/preisvergleich/seasonic-m12ii-520-bronze-evo-edition-520w-atx-2-3-ss-520gm2-a1097136.html .
