i3--2120 integrated graphics card crashes all games?

So my friend has this problem.
These are his specs:

i3-2120
Foxconn H61MXV
DDR3 4GB RAM

and when he runs any game; be it from the least demanding game (e.g Stick Fighter: The Game) to the most intensive, his games all black screen and go unresponsive?
At first i thought it was because the integrated graphics card was not updated, but i updated it to the latest drivers with no luck.

Could it perhaps be something else and do possible important windows updates be the problem?

the integrated graphics in the i3-2120 is toooooooooooooooooo old to run recent games.
Updating windows or graphics drivers may not solve the problem.
I suppose your (friend) best option is to get a new recent graphic card in order to play these games.
If you/your friend can afford it then buying an affordable GT1030 should be enough to do the job.
